Man's Bread

Have you been eating man's bread lately,
or have you dined on manna from the masters table ?

False Teachings In The Church Today

As we travel along life's highway there are many snares and side roads that can be traveled to take us out of the way of the path we really need to be on. But God has given us the scriptures to guide us along the right path. We must continue to look to Gods word and to use it as a "plumb line" to make certain we are building our beliefs on the right foundation and not building on what man has taught.
Throughout history there have been periods of time in which certain sects of the "church" went astray and walked contrary to the Word and will of God. These are they who acted upon the teachings of mankind holding fast to the traditions and teachings that have been passed down through the generations from man to man. These false teachings are "man's bread",and not the un-compromised and unchanged word of God.

God's word is profitable for correction.
2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
(KJV)
Today many false doctrines run rampant throughout many of our churches. Doctrines that are in direct contradiction to what scriptures teach are being spewed from many of the pulpits across the world. It is a shame that so many have turned away from the truth, and time and time again have stood in their pulpits passing along the false teachings that have been handed down to them through their particular denomination or church though the scriptures clearly teach an opposite view. Even many well known bible colleges continue to teach these false doctrines. Rather than walking in faith to believe the word of God concerning the things they didn't understand many have chosen to embrace doctrines that are contrary to Gods word, which explain away the things they don't understand.
Ps 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man
The Bible foretells of these things
Col 2:8
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
Ac 20:30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

2Ti 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

1Jo 2:26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
Pastors, Priests and ministers alike have a responsibility to seek out and learn the truth, to be lead by the Spirit of Truth and to teach the truth ACCORDING to the word of God not according to the traditions of men. God will hold responsible those who
teach lies and false doctrines.
Jeremiah 23:1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.
2 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.

Deception, Doubt And Confusion
Deception and doubt have long been the tools of the devil. He uses the same
techniques today that he used so many years ago. With lies, lies and more lies coupled with suggestions of doubt he causes confusion. For eons the devil has been deceiving mankind just as he did in the garden of Eden so long ago. Satan's desire is to make God's words appear to be lies. He does this by speaking messages of doubt and unbelief to mankind. So many have unknowingly given in to his subtle deceptions regarding God's word.
Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
Even now, in the church we read scriptures that some have not seen evidence of, yet rather than take God at his word they "explain away" the truth just like Satan did in the garden. This is seriously displeasing to God .

Faith
Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
(KJV)
Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen.
There are things of the Spirit that many have not experienced in their churches for one reason or another ,yet the bible clearly teaches that these things do happen. I speak here of miracles of healings and of gifts of the Spirit and suchlike. The bible clearly teaches that Jesus intends for us to have and even to perform these things in our lives today.
Joh 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
(KJV) (

Many don't ever see these things because of their unbelief!)
More Apostles
Yet many churches teach that the gifts of the Spirit passed away with the last of the Apostles and that the time of the Apostles passed away with the original twelve. They call the the earlier times
"The Apostolic Age" and they teach a false doctrine called Cessationalism, yet the bible itself provides not one shred of evidence for the doctrine of cessationalism. It is totally unscriptural.
This false teaching would cause one who is learned to questions its validity considering that fact that the Apostle Paul (Once named Saul) was not one of the original twelve and did in fact come about after the original twelve. Commonly it is taught that all of these things passed away after Jesus ascended into heaven and yet the scriptures teach something totally different.
In the bible we read of other Apostles
Ga 1:19 But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother.
Ac 14:14 Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,
Ro 16:7 Salute
Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellow prisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.
Mark 16:14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
(KJV)
However the bible teaches something totally different. Nowhere in the bible does it say, there will be no more miracles or healings. No where in the bible does it say there will be no more Apostles or Prophets. The bible clearly states something totally opposite to what has commonly been taught in many (NOT ALL ) churches who are in unbelief and therefore in rebellion to God's word.

Look at this scripture. This is the scripture that many church leaders use to explain the absence of the power of God in their churches.
I Corinthians 12:8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
When taken out of context and standing alone it looks as if the scriptures are saying that tongues will cease and prophecies will fail and knowledge will simply disappear. They use this scripture to say that the gift of tongues is no longer present among believers today. Lets look at the scriptures again
